April 2003: After many years letting it sit, I got back to work on Climbing Around to promote my printing services. I've gone for a clean look, that showcases the photos. I found a company that offered a great $50/yr price on 200 MB of storage and a domain name. I've used more, larger (640 x 480) pictures than before, so a faster connection, and large screen resolution (1024 x 768) work best.

There are three basic areas in the site:

• Photo galleries: that start with thumbnails, then go to small single pictures (good for slower connections).
  
  
• Articles, which have small pictures embedded.
  • If you click on most of these thumbnails you will find a larger resolution version, that is also part of a slide show on a given area or subject.
    
    
• I also made a Best Of show, using dynamic fading (on PC only) which works best with a faster connection, or after it has been run through once to cache the images.
